Program Description:

With the new CMS Meaningful Use Rules for 2015-2017, the MU measures and objectives for most providers need to recorded for the full year. By the end of Q2, MU objectives must be at 50% completion. Even with new rules that are more provider friendly, successful attestation requires the due diligence methods of the engineering and accounting disciplines.

Mr. Borge will provide the audience attestation workflow initiating with I&A and CMS registration, a review of the 2016 MU objectives and exclusions, completion of numerators and denominators,  Direct addressing,  and the 2015 attestation process including the February deadline.  He will also address the importance of using easy to understand CMS Specification Sheets in lieu of reading the Final Rules.

The presentation will also provide insight to a frequent comment, "spending too much time entering data and not enough time talking to patients".
