During this presentation, leaders will discover the 3 critical components of developing top performing teams that set the standards for excellence and make going above and beyond a way of life instead of a once in a while occurrence. Many companies have one or two of these critical elements in place, but only a few are connecting all three. This presentation demonstrates, in a surprisingly simple and common sense manner, the relationship of each element and how to connect them to create a solid, high performing team that is fully charged and excited about their work and the results they are achieving. 

Participants will learn the ABC’s of building high performance teams – Alignment, Buy-In, and Communication. Key learning points: Alignment: develop a clear mission with goals that align from top to bottom to define the culture and ensure the team is built with the right people in the right seats Buy-in: create a culture of accountability by gaining employee acceptance and encourage individual effort toward reaching organizational goals Communication: set performance expectations, deliver feedback, and recognize efforts through ongoing 2-way communication.

Liz Uram
As a speaker, Liz Uram teaches leaders, teams, and individuals how to bridge the gap between strategy and execution. She also works one-on-one with people who need help putting their plans into action. As a result of her work, people say they have more focus and direction and know what steps they need to take to get the results they want. 

She has over 15 years practicing, studying, and teaching leadership principles, she is an Amazon.com best-selling author. Her most recent book is called The Power of Personal Leadership: Smart Leaders Know Success Is An Inside Job.

Liz got her start in leadership in the brokerage industry in 2002 while working at Wells Fargo Investments. Over the course of her career she held the roles of supervisor, department manager, senior manager, and director. She led teams in operations, customer service, and sales where she had the opportunity to work with great people to achieve great results. 

Liz has been a lifelong learner of leadership and professional development. During her corporate career she signed up for every training opportunity offered and attended a nine-month long leadership program which was instrumental in her career development. She has a bachelor’s degree in Organization Leadership from Bethel University. She has read well over 100 books on leadership, business, and personal development. 

Liz has been teaching others leadership principles since 2010 when she started her company The Coach & Mentor Group. She has done a wide variety of work in business and leadership development from helping solo practitioners write business plans to speaking to corporate audiences on professional development. She has a well-rounded repertoire of knowledge collected from her professional background.

She is a highly regarded engaging professional who consistently prepares and delivers results driven presentations and impactful learning. Regardless of industry, every person leaves with more substantive knowledge and an elevated attitude. Style, clarity, and relevance are the trademarks of her role as a skilled presenter, trainer and facilitator.
