Our mission is to provide a lively environment for meeting other chapter members, exchanging career related information, and provide support for our career enhancement and job search efforts.
The Career Networking Group normally meets from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. before Chapter dinner meetings (unless otherwise noted for specific programs) and consists of informal discussions on career enhancement, job search strategies and related topics.
Meeting formats include:
Our sessions are open to PMI members and non-member project professionals at no cost.
Networking is a vital way to manage our careers as professionals in project management. This group serves to bring people together for the purpose of meeting, learning career techniques, and sharing information on career opportunities. It also provides a forum for encouraging each other when in the job search.
Open to all members of PMI-MN (and to non-members as well – to generate interest in the chapter), our dialogue explores resources in the community, on the internet, and making personal connections. People looking for jobs, company representatives looking to hire, and other interested PMI members are welcome. There are no fees for attendees
Companies and recruiters post some of their best Project Management and related opportunities on our site. Login and then choose Jobs from the Career item on the menu bar to see what career opportunities await you.
Post your project management openings on our PMI-MN website in our Members Only area. There are no fees. Just complete the PMI-MN Job Posting Form and send it (one for each job listing to post) to firstname.lastname@example.org. It will be posted within three days.
And, thanks for thinking of our PMI-MN members for your project management needs!
