Chapter NewsSAVE THE DATE!If you like to plan ahead, mark your calendars for September 12 – 15, 2016 as the dates for next year’s annual Professional Development Days (PDD). We will once again be at the St. Paul RiverCentre. This year we plan to have a greater website and social media presence. Look for our dedicated PDD webpage with the launch of new chapter website at the end of December. Career Networking EventJulie Muscha, Technical Recruiter with The Latitude Group, presented at the October Career Networking Group meeting. She led a discussion for about 2 dozen people on the “Top Ten Things to Know When Interviewing in the IT World.” She covered areas such as non-verbal communication, specific content suggestion, and how to succeed in the new modes of interviewing. Kudos to our Career Networking Group volunteers; Dean Gabbart and Wendy Smith for managing 2015 Meetings Our next Career Networking Session will be before the Chapter Dinner on November 16, 2015. New Member Orientation Sessions (held monthly)
Welcome newcomers and current members! PMI-MN offers a new member orientation session starting at 6:00 pm before each month’s Chapter dinner meeting.
You don’t actually need to be a new member—or a member at all—to attend this orientation session! This is a great way to check out the Chapter. If you haven’t been to many Chapter events (or it’s been a long time), come and get re-acquainted with what our Chapter is all about!
