I have been active in every board meeting, every chapter meeting, and Professional Development Day(s).

My vision is to continue to build on the solid positive financial results, increase membership, increase project management learning opportunities and growth the PDD Days. I would like to increase the awareness of PMI-MN and find creative ways to increase communication to increase the ability for all members to improve themselves and their organizations.

Kimberly Berger, PMP®, PMI-ACP®, A-CSM, DASM, MBA
Name: Kimberly Berger, PMP®, PMI-ACP®, A-CSM, DASM, MBA
Company: Digineer
Running for: Director of Finance

Project Management Consultant with Digineer. With twenty-two years of corporate finance and information technology experience in strategic planning, project management, agile transformations and team building in multiple industries and different sized organizations, I would like to continue to participate in the leadership of Minnesota PMI as Director of Finance.
As Director of Finance for 2021, and previously vice Chair and chair of PDD days, I have been active in every board meeting, every chapter meeting, and Professional Development Day. I grew and learned a lot from PMI by learning more about project management; participating in the leadership of PMI; and by expanding my network of professionals to share ideas with.
My vision is to continue to build a quality organization where people come to expand their knowledge and how to’s through sharing ideas and experiences about project management and agile methods with fellow members, their organization, and academic institutions. In our capacity as project/agile leaders, we need to become business partners with our leaders and share this knowledge to create and communicate visions to incite team members to create and execute project plans and agile transformations effectively. Leaders use project management methods to stay on course in accomplishing their vision. Leaders use agile to get work done in a more economical way that creates value sooner for the business.

I am humbled at the quality of professionals that work on behalf of PMI-MN. My aim is to continue to build on the strong foundation already in place. As project management teaches, there is always room to improve and - driving that improvement - should be the voice of our customers, our members.
