Message from the President

Dear Members,

Just a few months from now we will be celebrating our 25^th Anniversary of Professional Development Days (PDD). The event will be held September 24-27 at the St. Paul RiverCentre. Our Chapter continues to encourage innovation in the industry thus inspiring the improvement of our educational and networking successes over the past 25 years.  The increasing numbers in attendance and positive feedback reassure us that we are on the right path.

The Education Days schedule offers 26 classes including Project Agility, Project Manager and Sponsor Communications, Bending the Generations, Transformational Thinking and Planning, Become a Master Influencer, A3 Thinking, How to Think Strategically, Agile/Scrum Crash Course, From Project to Portfolio, and many more.  There’s also a three-day PMP® Certification Exam Prep Course to get you in shape for the last steps to becoming a PMP®.  We also have Symposium Day where you can select from 24 one-hour sessions aligned in six tracks: Leadership, Strategic, Technical, Change, Applied, and Agile. All are designed to keep you interested and informed. Please visit our website for more information.

We appreciate industry support from a diversified list of sponsors and vendors who have chosen to join us in this celebration of innovation, offering a collaborative platform to exchange ideas and best practices, all the while, improving each one of us in professionalism and skill.

Our volunteer leaders and committees continue working harder and smarter to improve our member services, fulfilling your needs as most of us are busy transforming our project management and leadership professions in order to become more agile to respond to the fast-paced business changes.  Please expect our ongoing responses to these changes in our chapter activities. PMI Minnesota has established a presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook and we would love to have you join us.

Monthly Renewal Drawing Winner
