Youth Education Outreach

PMI Minnesota’s Youth Education Program

The Minnesota Chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI) has teamed with PMI’s Education Foundation (PMI-EF) to provide children and young adults with Project Management training and materials. We offer classes for kids and have partnered with other organizations (such as Boy Scouts of America’s North Star Council). By partnering with other youth organizations we are able to offer classes in multiple venues and provide mentoring for educators and youth coaches.

Project Management Skills For Life

One such program is Project Management Skills For Life (PMSFL). This signature program offers a structured classroom setting, training materials and a PMI EF test and certificate. The PMI EF Certificate recognizes the time, effort and understanding of Project Management principles that students receive and demonstrate. The program is open to boys and girls between 13 and 20.
