Colleen Adams, as Program Manager for the 2012 Speaker RFP, made a significant contribution to the Programs Team and to PMI-MN during Q4 2011.
Colleen led the team that enabled the Programs Team to engage and schedule the event speakers for the 2012 dinner and breakfast meeting. Additional proposals will be of value to LIGs, Career Networking, Seminars and PDD.
Among her accomplishments in this role:
  • Developing a Speaker Qualification Criteria assessment for evaluating proposals
  • Proposing speakers for each events in 2012
  • Contacting and confirming each speaker for 2012

Rich Walker, 2012 Operations Chair, has done a remarkable job of taking a deep dive into learning the operations of the Chapter in his current role.
His primary responsibility is the smooth functioning of the Operations Committee, reporting to the Chapter’s COO.  In this capacity, his role includes listening to  and escalating issues received from the Chapter's dozen Chairs for discussion at the monthly operations meetings and ensuring coordination of activities across the organization.

Thanks Rich for taking on and excelling in this responsibility in 2012!

Judy Juhl is representative of PMI-MN's volunteers extraordinaire. Her contributions to our Chapter are varied and many. Her flexibility, "can do" attitude, and willingness to help make her an invaluable asset to PMI-MN and its success.

In 2012, Judy's activities continued on the Marketing & Communications team as job and volunteer website postings editor - a role she has held with great care since 2010. Her attention to detail and timely response, have meant open job positions are available in record time for members in their career search.

She is also engaged on the PDD 2012 team as Operations Center Chair (as in 2011). Members have come to expect an exceptional event and, Judy is more than up to the demands of assembling and organizing the “day of” activities to deliver a value event.

Mary Jane Swanson, as Chair of the 2012 Professional Development days (PDD), was the driver behind the planning, resourcing (over 70 volunteers), leading, and managing of the project for PMI-MN's premier four-day event for project management professionals.

Her teammates applauded her professionalism and steady hand, and particularly her phenomenal ability to keep her team of volunteers motivated for a grueling 12 months! Her winning personality and work ethic were factors that led to a very successful event for the Chapter.

Great work! Great leader! Thanks for your contribution to our Chapter and its members!
