Program Description:

What is The State of Manufacturing in Minnesota?
For the eighth year in a row, Enterprise Minnesota and its key strategic partners are releasing the results of an in-depth, statistically significant survey of the perceptions and opinions of 400 Minnesota manufacturing executives. The survey is accompanied by a series of focus groups, comprised of executives, managers, and thought leaders revealing their thoughts on the economy and other major issues impacting their ability to do business. This year, three focus groups were conducted with students to get a better sense of the skills gap from the perspective of the next generation of manufacturing workers. The results of the survey have become the go-to resource for state and federal policymakers, economic development officials, business leaders, and educators looking to better understand how manufacturers feel about our current business landscape.
