Job Summary:

This BAS Controls Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and guiding Trane Controls Engineering projects from concept through delivery to customer. This role is a leader who establishes and maintains a close-working relationship with project stakeholders and is a positive, proactive and creative problem-solver. 

Core Job Responsibilities (others may be added):

• Coordinate and assign tasks, establish project schedules and project budgets.
• Ability to work with other departments, leading through influence, mining and analyzing data and proactive communication to ensure successful project performance.
• Work with the release management team to ensure projects meet milestones consistent with project objectives.
• Proactively manage and minimize project risks and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
• Empower the team for continuous improvement in their abilities to release the product.
• Ensure quality assurance standards are achieved.
• Initiate, conduct and document stakeholder meetings reporting team status of program commitments.
• Keep team motivated, focused on project goals/objectives and able to redirect to meet due dates.

Requirements: 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of electronic hardware and/or software product development and project leadership experience is required.
• Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Degree is a plus.
• Master’s Degree is a plus.
