Join us for our Virtual November Chapter Dinner!

Join career strategists Tom Colosimo and Paul Larson as we discuss the challenges of job searching, networking, and career planning in the post-pandemic hybrid world of in-person and virtual communication that we all now live in. We'll start with some general questions and perspectives from Tom and Paul, and will then open up the meeting to questions from the attendees.

Tom Colosimo, Colosimo Career Consulting, Career Strategist

As a professional career architect/coach and recruiter expert with an extensive scope of business connections in the accounting, manufacturing, banking, service and retail industries, Tom offer strong expertise for successful career strategies. He is a sought after speaker on topics of networking, career-changing, impactful resumes and how to successfully work with recruiters.

 

Paul Larson, Certified Career Development Facilitator/ Job Placement Specialist

Paul is a Career Coach who is celebrating his 40th anniversary working with adults in career transition.  Much of his work has involved clients changing career after incurring injuries that prevent them from continuing their jobs. Many of his clients have worked in blue collar jobs but a number are white collar workers earning up to $250k. 

Paul also has works with clients in transition due to various life events such as divorce, lay-offs and terminations, with other  clients seeking advice on career direction, Job Seeking Skills, and Job Development. He has served as a Vocational Expert for the Social Security Administration and has been actively involved in Professional Associations. 

Paul is a strong believer in Networking and utilizes Linked-in extensively. He has written and presented on topics such as Application Tracking Software, Linked-In, Identity Security for Job Seekers, Most Effective Job Search Techniques and Electronic Portfolios. 

While not working his paid position, Paul volunteers in the community providing Emergency Medical Services and Public Safety through Three River’s Park District Ski Patrol and Hennepin County Sheriff's Office and serves at various events including the Twin Cites Marathon, Polar Plunge, Super Bowl 52, MSP Airport Police Traffic Control (during the Super Bowl) and the Minneapolis Aquatennial. Connect with Paul on LinkedIn.
