Program Description

Setting up project schedule and tracking project cost are considered “hard” skills for a project manager (PM.)  As project managers are accountable for the project outcome but generally have no authority over the resources, people skills, or the “soft” skills, are necessary to be transparent and to build relationship in order to influence team performance, solicit resources from functional managers, and gain project approvals and support from senior leadership.  In a panel discussion format, this meeting will present a soft skill discussion that are necessary but easier said than done in a healthcare project management environment, that can help to sustain your PM career.
