Program Description:

Has your current project repository become so large and complex that your project team members and PM’s are finding it difficult to use? Or, are you in the process of developing your project repository and are in need of some technical and procedural advice?

This presentation will provide a high level overview of the SharePoint application, but more specifically will demonstrate its power for managing project artifacts (documents, issues, risks, etc.) in a far more streamlined manner than an on premise or hosted basic client/server file system.

At the Allina Health IS PMO we recently revamped our project repository platform using Microsoft SharePoint 2013 running in the Microsoft Cloud. Whether your organization has a SharePoint instance or not, learning the core essentials of centralizing your project repository will benefit your healthcare PMO and entire organization!
