Program Description: 

Want to hear about the pros and cons of consulting? What it's like to go from full time employment to a consulting position? How to make consulting a career? We will have a panel discussion to answer all your questions about consulting.

Recruiters and Hiring Managers are especially welcome to this session – your insight will be most helpful to the participants!

All are welcome. Remember to bring your business cards and PDA’s for informal networking before and after the session. There is no cost for this networking session; non-members welcome.

Carrie Mitchell - Engagement Manager for Hollstadt & Associates: "Carrie Mitchell has over 10 years of experience leading transformational, high-risk and challenged projects in the public, private and non-profit sectors.  Carrie has managed both business and IT projects, including two business intelligence implementations, a multi-year human resources improvement program, a healthcare platform replacement and several business continuity projects."

Jim Mitchell - Project Manager for Hollstadt & Associates: "Jim Mitchell is a results-driven project manager with more than 10 years of experience in project management and operations management. Jim has worked in a variety of industries including Retail, Manufacturing and Health care and has  managed both business and IT large initiative projects. Jim has experience with hardware and software rollouts including physical technology implementations at the site level and has spent the last five years as a consultant."

Maxine Thomas - Senior Vice President of Operations at Hollstadt and Associates, Inc.: "Ms. Thomas joined Minnesota-based Hollstadt & Associates, Inc., in 1998 as a Senior Project Manager Consultant specializing in security, privacy and compliance initiatives for various Hollstadt clients. She has over 25 years of experience working in various industries including healthcare, retail, telecommunications, and financial services. In 2012 Ms. Thomas accepted a leadership position within the Hollstadt office as Vice President of Service Delivery and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations a year later. She has a strong passion in helping people grow within their career as consultants and is responsible for consultant coaching, mentoring, training, development and issue management."

Tom Simpson - Project Manager for Hollstadt & Associates: "Tom Simpson has over 15 years of leadership experience in the Retail, Manufacturing and Airline industries. He's managed project and program level efforts including the merger of multiple custom built applications into a single instance, implementation of third party software, integration for Software as a Service solutions and modifications to existing systems to meet government regulations. Tom has spent the last eight years as a consultant."
