Job Description: 

Aspen Waste Systems, Inc. is looking for a Project Manager, to work as an independent contractor, and manage several on-going IT projects. Aspen does not have a IT employee. We outsource all IT Managed Services and Equipment Maintenance. The Project Manager would be the point person for Aspen to work with and manage the 3rd party IT service provider. The Project Manager would lead software implementation projects, server maintenance projects, upgrades, etc. Our current consultant spends 40-60 hours a month. Some months may require more time, some less.

Most of the work would be remote, but there would be some reporting to our Minneapolis office for meetings and project updates.

Requirements: 
  • Computer Science or IT education
    AND
  • Experience with project management
  • This person will act as a technology liaison between Aspen and the 3rd party IT Managed Services provider -  They need to have strong project management and communication skills. 
  • They will lead software implementations, server and software upgrades, communicate with the network engineers and advise senior management on any recommended IT infrastructure changes.
