Program Description: 

** A Joint Outreach Youth Program from BSA Northern Star Council (NSC) and 
the Minnesota Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI)

WHO
• All Twin Cities Metro youth ages 13 to 20.
- Youth leadership groups, student councils, 4H, girl scouts, boy scouts.
- Middle schools, high schools, colleges & universities students

WHY
• Everything in life is a project. Learning project management skills early will greatly benefit you for life.
• Fundamentals class includes NOCTI (www.nocti.org) Digital Badge assessment. Digital Badge is a great credential for building your resumes for college and job applications.
• Satisfies Project Management requirements for BSA Venturing Pathfinder Award.

WHAT
• Two levels of courses, Introduction and Fundamentals, in alternating calendar quarters.
• No prerequisite. Fundamentals is more in depth than Introduction.

WHEN
• Fundamentals of PM – 3-day session: July 22nd (1-3 PM), 26th (6-8 PM) & 29th (1-3 PM)
• Introduction to PM – 1-day session: October 28th in Univ. of Scouting
• Arrive 15 minutes early to check in.
